Railroad Scanning in Savannah and Brunswick

Earlier this year I started a new radio project: trying to find out which railroad frequencies are in use in Savannah and Brunswick. It isn’t a high priority project; I’ve just been listening to railroad frequences on weekends, slow MilCom days, and in the wee hours of the morning when there’s not much else to listen to. One of the things I was interested to discover is that CSX’s Southover Yard has a repeater using railroad frequencies (the output of the repeater is also used in simplex mode). Mind you, I’m no expert on railroads or railroad scanning, so if you got any corrections or suggestions, please leave a comment below.
