MAG-31 Marine Division Tactics Course at MCAS Beaufort

In addition to the 62nd FS/308th FS F-35A training going on at Savannah-Hilton Head IAP, MAG-31 at MCAS Beaufort, SC is conducting a MDTC (Marine Division Tactics Course). An MDTC is held each Winter at MCAS Beaufort to qualify fighter pilots and controllers as instructors; other units such as MAWTS-1 and VMFT-401 from MCAS Yuma and civilian contractor aggressors are involved as well. They began flying morning and afternoon sorties from MCAS Beaufort this week, which means there should be some more activity next week as well.
