Sentry Savannah, a 4th and 5th generation fighter exercise, got underway this week in Savannah, GA. Fighters and tankers from several different units are based at the Air Dominance Center at Savannah-Hilton Head IAP and Hunter AAF for the next two weeks while they participate. KC-135s from the 117th ARW and 190th ARW and a KC-46A from the 157th ARW are working out of Hunter AAF as the tanker support. F-16CMs from the 157th FS, F-22As from the 43rd FS and 192nd Wing, F-35As from the 419th FW, and T-38s from the 2nd FTS are at the Air Dominance Center (ADC) at Savannah-Hilton Head IAP. There is also a very special visitor to the ADC this year: an F-117A!
Over the last two days, as the exercise got underway, a group of us have had the opportunity to listen in. I’ve been in Savannah in the mornings catching the departures of the morning sorties but I haven’t been able to catch any of the afternoon sorties. Below is a list of frequencies and callsigns that are a starting point in case you want to listen in. The aircraft have been going out to the offshore warning areas for the exercise with the tankers working to the north and south of the fights.
Frequencies
I think that most of the air-to-air frequencies in use could be ADC assigned frequencies or exercise frequencies instead of the units’ normal air-to-air frequencies. 318.775 is a new one for me, possibly an ADC frequency I’ve never heard before.

Thanks for this list. My recent new toy is a digital scanner so I’ve been looking for things to try listening to.
I’ve been able to pick up Fernandina Beach but I don’t think I’ve picked up Savannah yet.

What’s in this post is what I’ve heard from up in Savannah. When I’m in Brunswick (unless I’m mobile), all I usually have is a handheld with an extendable antenna and I have problems hearing the offshore warning areas where this activity is from inside. I can, however, hear Townsend Range (228.400/252.900) fairly well. If you’re looking for anything specific, let me know.

I’m still learning about what I can hear with the whip, to see how interested I stay and see if I get an itch to broadcast (and therefore get licensed.)
Do the school bus systems carry radios here?
